Our stay at the resort was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was notably helpful and polite. However, the pool cleanliness left much to be desired, and the breakfast could use a significant upgrade. While the food was tasty, we found the pricing for our stay to be on the higher side, especially considering the pool’s condition.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed. However, the size felt a bit small with less storage space.

The resort is quite away from the town center, making it feel somewhat isolated, which might not be ideal for those looking for more activity.

The food was delicious, but the breakfast options were ordinary and not particularly satisfying.

The pool looked appealing in photos but appeared dirty and unmaintained, which was disappointing.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. The concept of traditional kutch huts transformed into modern rooms was unique and visually appealing. The front desk staff did an excellent job handling a payment misunderstanding, which I appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the pool was a major letdown, and the breakfast options were quite limited for the price paid.

Rooms

The rooms are beautifully maintained, resembling traditional bhungas, and have all the basic amenities. I found them clean and quite comfortable.
Service

The front desk staff handled our payment confusion with professionalism and kindness, which I found commendable.

I had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel with its cozy, round rooms that really gave off a village vibe. The beautifully maintained gardens and the vegetarian restaurant served some of the best food I've ever had. However, I did experience issues with the Wi-Fi in the room, which was frustrating at times. Overall, this place offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

My experience at this resort was quite mixed. While the rooms were beautifully done and clean, the overall service and dining left much to be desired. The ambiance is romantic, but the lack of privacy and chaos during meal times really affected my stay. Given the price, I expected more attention to the guests, especially with respect to service and amenities.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, and face the pool, which is nice, but privacy can be an issue due to the layout.
Service
5.0
Service was quite lacking. Sometimes the reception was unmanned, and room service took forever. I had to ask multiple times for basic items.
Location
6.0
The location has potential, being in a quiet area, but it can feel crowded with restaurant guests using the same space during dinner times.
Dining
5.0
Dining was disappointing, as the food lacked flavor, and my breakfast was not ready on time. It felt more focused on attracting diners from outside than on serving resort guests.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities are limited, and the pool area is often crowded with restaurant diners, making it less enjoyable for guests staying at the resort.

My stay at City the Village was very disappointing. While the resort has potential with its cultural decor, I encountered several issues that overshadowed my experience. The room cleanliness was lacking, and the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the dining experience was subpar, making it hard to justify the cost of my stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room was not clean and had a strong unpleasant smell. The linen quality was poor, making for an uncomfortable stay.
Service

The reception staff were rude, and I had to manage my own luggage during check-in, which was quite disappointing.
Location
Dining

Dinner was a letdown; the food was tasteless and took an unacceptable 50 minutes to arrive. It did not meet my expectations for Punjabi cuisine.
Facilities
5.0
The resort had potential with its cultural atmosphere, and the swimming pool looked nice, but overall, the facilities didn't compensate for the poor service.
